Updated Standings - thru December 21st

Apologies to anyone who actually tuned into that nightmarish display of "football" last night.  Today's action kicks off early, 12:30 PM Eastern, as my alma mater, Ohio University, looks to thwart the upstart UAB program in the Bahamas.  For those of you who don't know UAB's story, it's actually quite interesting.  The program was shut down after the '14 season along with the university's RIFLE and BOWLING programs, due to budget reasons.  All three programs were reinstated for the 2017 season. And THANK GOD for that!

In other interesting action, Wyoming QB Josh Allen squares off against another MAC squad, Central Michigan, on the famous smurf turf in Boise.  I'm looking for Allen to light up the scoreboard and the Cleveland Browns to draft him 1st overall.  Or maybe we'll see the Josh Allen who threw 5 INT's against Nebraska.  Either way, I think it's safe to say the Browns will take him first overall and it will be a rousing success.
