The 2016 football season is already a success in my book -- just ask Jim Harbaugh. But that season is officially over. Now it's BOWL SEASON, and that means it's time to throw away everything you thought you learned about football over the past three months. I don't care who you beat in September. I don't care how dynamic your offense is. Analytics aren't relevant here. The real question you need to answer is, "How in the hell do D.J. Durkin and Steve Addazio get the Terrapins and Eagles fired up to play a football game on December 26th in Detroit, MI in front of 3,500 spectators?" Answer that, and you just might have what it takes to walk away with some dough.
Rules haven't changed, but I'll reiterate them here anyhow:
Entry fee is $10 and there is no limit on the number of forms you can submit.
Preferred payment method is two crisp five dollar bills. You can also PayPal me at:
or send me a check to:

Please try to have forms to me by Friday, December 16th at 6:00 PM EST. I will accept forms up until kickoff at 12:00 PM Eastern on the 17th, but prefer to have them a little in advance.
Rules are as follows:
Pick the outright winner of all 42 Bowl Games (no point spreads), including the BCS National Championship game.
You will assign confidence points to each selection. Assign 42 points to the pick with which you are MOST confident. Assign 1 confidence point to the pick with which you are LEAST confident.
The participant with the most points WINS!
S/he who finishes last will win the Angie Guidi Lack of Achievement Award, which is really hard to do. I encourage you to submit a secondary form in an attempt to finish dead last. Harder than you think, tough guy.
Payouts will be contingent upon the number of participants and announced on Saturday, December 17th.
Last year's winners and payouts:
Chris Predieri | 1st | $510 |
Curt Wininger | 2nd | $250 |
Eric Fox | 3rd | $150 |
Mike MacKim | 4th | $100 |
Richard Tober | 5th | $60 |
Congrats to Larry Frischen for winning the Angie Guidi Lack of Achievement Award with a pool low of 303 points. The next WORST effort was 57 points away. Staggering and shameful, Larry. I'm proud of you.
